How Remote First Recruiting helped build Rally's Remote Team

Rally is an e-Commerce company that helps modern brands gain more freedom, more creativity, and more success with a flexible, one-click checkout. The company is on a mission to bring power back to merchants and app developers by equipping them with a headless and fully optimized one-click checkout solution.

As their team scaled quickly, Jordan and Rok, co-founders of Rally, sought out expert assistance in hiring. They connected with Remote First Recruiting and were able to successfully hire twenty-three key employees.

Background and Challenges

Rally was facing a challenge in terms of building a team that met their technical and cultural requirements, along with their geographic requirements as a remote team with timezone preferences. The overhead of managing a pipeline of candidates and difficulty in vetting candidates once they entered their hiring funnel was proving to be time-consuming and challenging. Co-founder, Jordan Gal, had worked with Remote First Recruiting while hiring for his previous company, CartHook, and turned to the RFR team to help scale his new team.

Strategy and Execution

The RFR team conducted an in-depth discovery call with Rally to understand their requirements, which saved them a lot of time. They were patient in finding candidates and checked in regularly after interviews to ensure a great candidate experience.
